About Streamline

12 Years of Operations.
Built Into a Library.

Streamline Pet Solutions exists because I spent 12 years solving grooming business problems the hard way — and I got tired of watching other owners make the same expensive mistakes.

The Story

Why Streamline Exists

I started in grooming the same way most people do — working for someone else, watching how things were done, and eventually going out on my own. For years, my "system" was what was in my head. It worked, until I hired my first employee.

The moment you need someone else to run a shift without you, everything you've built in your head has to get out of your head and onto paper. I learned that the painful way — with inconsistent client experiences, equipment that didn't get maintained properly, and staff who had no idea how to handle a situation I hadn't personally trained them through.

I spent the next several years building the systems I wished I'd had from day one. Not because I read a book about operations management, but because I had a problem and I needed to solve it. The result is the Streamline library — 150+ procedures that cover every repeatable situation in a grooming business, from the first client call through multi-location expansion.

"Your team can't operate at your standard until you've written down what your standard actually is."

Streamline exists to make that documentation work faster, better, and immediately useful — whether you're on your first hire or your tenth location.

Experience

The Background Behind the Library

Not theoretical — built across real business types, real staff, and real problems.

Early career
Salon employment, then independent contractor work
Learned the craft and began documenting processes that weren't being documented — noticing where inconsistency created problems for clients and staff alike.
Independent salon
Opened first owner-operated grooming business
First encounter with the gap between "how I do it" and "how I'd explain it to someone else." Started writing down the procedures I'd been doing from memory.
With staff
Hired first employees, hit the documentation wall
Discovered that a team can't operate to your standard until you've written that standard down. Began formalizing the first version of what became the Streamline library.
Mobile expansion
Built and operated mobile grooming operations
Added the mobile-specific SOPs — routing, van safety, equipment protocols, and the logistics of a geographically dispersed operation. These became Category 9 of the library.
Multi-location
Expanded to multiple locations, developed manager infrastructure
The hardest operational transition. Built out the cross-location consistency systems, manager onboarding tracks, and centralized policy documents that make the Multi-Location system what it is.
2026
Launched Streamline Pet Solutions
Packaged 12 years of operational documentation into a structured library available to any grooming business owner who is serious about growth.
What We Believe

Three Principles Behind Every SOP

Written is better than remembered
The best standard operating procedure is the one that exists outside your head. If your team can only do it right when you're watching, you don't have a system — you have a dependency.
Operational excellence is the brand
How you handle a complicated groom, a nervous dog, and a concerned client in the same afternoon — consistently, regardless of who's on shift — that's your reputation. SOPs are how you replicate it.
Built from real problems
Every procedure in the library was written in response to a real situation — not an industry framework or a consultant's best guess. If it's in the library, it's there because it mattered.
